39 weeks/40 Weeks

Today is the day!!! We took the 39/40 week picture right before leaving to the hospital! Technically I am 39 weeks pregnant in the photo and won’t turn 40 weeks until September 26^th, her due date.

How Far Along: 39 weeks (as of Sep 19^th) 40 Weeks (in 2 days/Scarlett’s expected date)

Size of Baby: Still the size of a small watermelon and can weigh 7 pounds or more!

Baby Updates:  Her organs are well developed and ready for function outside the womb. She’s continuing to practice her breathing and her lungs are producing surfactant.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: For the entire pregnancy a total of 33 pounds!
Maternity Clothes: All maternity clothes since I am back at work!

Gender: Baby Girl Scarlett Camille

Movement: Crazy movement- She kicks one leg out and it protrudes from my side!

Sleep: Okay- Frequent potty breaks

What I miss: Tummy sleeping, martinis, margs, sushi

Cravings: Jason’s Deli Ice Cream with a Salad Bar

Symptoms: HCG High! I have been so happy its crazy!

Best Moment this week: Knowing she is arriving!
