27 Weeks

Well Shane decided to up our closing date…to ASAP. He decided since he should be finished with our entry project this week he wants to go ahead and get started on the next house.

All of the tile has be laid and grouted in the bar area.  The only items left to complete are sealing the grout, installing the baseboards and touch up paint.

Since Shane upped our closing date, our house is now for rent!

The sun wasn’t exactly in our favor…

How Far Along: 27 weeks and the 3^rd Trimester!!!! On 6/27/12

Size of Baby: Scarlett is now the size of a cauliflower and weighs about 2.5 pounds.

Baby Updates: Baby is now blinking, coughing, breathing better and her eyelashes are forming. If born today, she would also have a great survival rate in that her lungs are almost fully mature.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I’m up 2 pounds last week for a total of 22! Yikes!

Maternity Clothes: All maternity pants and most shirts. I’ve also discovered the bra extender…this little gem is my new found friend!

Gender: GIRL! Scarlett Camille

Movement: Still moving frequently, my favorite is waking up in the morning and feeling her shift around.

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty good…once I get to sleep.

What I miss: Frozen cocktails!

Cravings: Fizzy drinks, blizzards, TexMex, Sonic Slushies…If its cold and sweet I want it!

Symptoms: I randomly woke up in the middle of the night with indigestion and it made me feel super nauseous…very random!

Best Moment this week: Finalizing our baby shower planning…I can’t believe its next Sunday! I already go into her room at this house and think about when she will arrive…it’s going to feel more real as the room starts to fill with more things we need as we prepare for her arrival!
