I feel like I’m continually late in posting! We seem to stay so busy so it has been hard to keep up. I did get a three day weekend from work which was great for catching up with things around the house and running errands…nothing real exciting, I know. We did meet with our realtor on Sunday and looked at a few homes. Sadly one we were looking forward to seeing was a short sale and just not enough space, and the second had severe foundation issues that would prevent financing…did I mention we thought we had it narrowed down to three? We did bid on the one, but it is a Bank of America foreclosure and the process is extremely overwhelming and seems to take forever!
Our next appointment is for May 7th, which will be a sono appt and our 20 week visit with the doctor as well.
How Far Along: 16 Weeks – 4.11.12
Size of baby: The size of a lemon at approximately 4 inches long and weighs about 4 ounces.
What Baby’s Up To: The baby’s chest is expanding and contracting preparing the lungs for breathing. The baby can also hear loud noises like the door bell ringing or dog parking
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Still up the 8 lbs but it definitely looks like more…my body has got to be shifting what I have around!
Maternity Clothes: None…just wearing elastic waistbands or leggings with blousy tops
Gender: Baby S is a girl…and does not have a name yet…
Movement: Sometimes when going to bed I feel her…she feels like I have a goldfish in my belly…at first I thought it was gas!
Sleep: I’m tired early, but have been sleeping well and through the night.
What I miss: Frozen mixed drinks and oysters
Cravings: Smoothies! I have officially perfected the smoothie!
Symptoms: So far so good…still the headaches, but went and got a massage and they are getting better…I have another one scheduled for this Thursday!
Best Moment this week: Searching for houses and trying to find where we are going to put Baby S once she gets here! Also I ordered the bedding for her room…I have been stalking it for the last couple weeks so I decided I may as well give in and order it!
