How Far Along: 12 weeks - 3.14.12!
Size of baby: Baby is the size of a plum and weighs half an ounce.
What Baby’s Up To: The most dramatic development this week: reflexes. Your baby's fingers will soon begin to open and close, his toes will curl, his eye muscles will clench, and his mouth will make sucking movements.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Per my doctor’s visit on Tuesday I am still only up a total of 6 pounds so far but it is definitely looks and feels more like 10…maybe 15.
Maternity Clothes: No, but basically all of my pants no longer button or zip, so they are now closed with a hair tie and I put my BeBand over it.
Movement: Nothing yet.
Sleep: So far with the time change and spring break…not that well…
What I miss: Deli Meat
Cravings: Fish and Oyesters….mmmmmmm!
Symptoms: Still doing okay.
Best Moment this week: Having our 12 week scan was amazing!! It was so neat to see how much the baby had grown and was moving around in there. We also made a trip to Galveston with some friends, so having some relaxing time off in the sun was great! ALSO...We got the results back from our "Finger Prick Gender Screen" and Baby Shepherd is predicted to be (drum roll please) A GIRL!
